Today we would like to take a moment to recognize the exceptional efforts of our School Nutrition Superheroes. These women and men consistently demonstrate their dedication by preparing meals for the students of Effingham County daily. They earn their Superhero status every day in our eyes.

April's Harvest of the Month is strawberries! Students will get to enjoy fresh picked strawberries from Hodges Strawberry Farm. Look for them in your school cafeterias!

Today's lunch is pancakes and sausage from Hunter Cattle Company, served with yams, hashbrowns and choice of fruit, juice and milk. A special St. Patrick's day treat as well. Great tray BES!

In honor of Johnny Appleseed day we are serving local apples from Aaron Family Orchards along with teriyaki chicken or orange chicken, fried rice, glazed carrots and szechuan green beans. Choice of fruit, juice and milk. Great tray BES!
