We’re sharing this opportunity from Oregon Developmental Disabilities Services:

ODDS is hosting a virtual community conversation on Tuesday, August 6, from 12–1 p.m. about the future of Oregon’s Employment First policy.

Participants will hear updates from the ODDS Employment Services team, learn how to get involved in developing Oregon’s Employment First strategic plan, and hear from Gabrielle Guedon of the Oregon Self Advocacy Coalition. This is also a chance to share feedback and experiences with ODDS and Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) services.

Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) helps people with disabilities find and keep jobs that match their interests and strengths. If you or someone you support experiences a developmental disability, this conversation may be a helpful way to learn more about employment services and how to get involved.

To register or learn more, visit:
https://www.oregon.gov/dhs/SEN/DD/Pages/Community-Engagement.aspx

Interpretation and accessibility supports will be available, including ASL, Spanish interpretation, live captioning, and multi-language feedback forms.

ODHS provides services to over 1 million people across Oregon, including food and cash benefits, disability services, and support for children, families and older adults
