The red white and blue Medicare card covers approximately 80% of your Medicare medical cost. 20% is what you will pay out of pocket unless you add a Medicare Supplement or Medicare Advantage plan to original Medicare. It also does not cover Part D, prescription drug coverage. There are some excellent choices for 2023 for Advantage plans that have a zero premium. These plans cover prescription drugs and offers many benefits that Medicare does not cover such as Dental, Vision, Hearing, Fitness memberships, and many other health related benefits. Medicare has released new Part B information for 2023. Good news is that it has decreased for next year. Call if you have any questions. Also Annual enrollment period for Medicare begins OCT 15.
