The red white and blue Medicare card covers approximately 80% of your Medicare medical cost. 20% is what you will pay out of pocket unless you add a Medicare Supplement or Medicare Advantage plan to original Medicare. It also does not cover Part D, prescription drug coverage. There are some excellent choices for 2023 for Advantage plans that have a zero premium. These plans cover prescription drugs and offers many benefits that Medicare does not cover such as Dental, Vision, Hearing, Fitness memberships, and many other health related benefits. If you prefer a Medicare Supplement, we offer many Supplements through many major insurance companies as well as stand alone Prescription Drug Plans.
