Performed fully clothed on a mat on the ground, using compression, rhythmic rocking and stretching to achieve balance and spaciousness in the body and mind. Connection of the mind, body, and spirit with world around us. I believe we are able to offer our best self when we feel good and whole in our bodies. When we feel whole, we can harness our natural gifts and power to contribute to those around
us. My intention is to help the world to become a more connected and loving place, starting right here in my beautiful community. I first found bodywork when I was working a desk job in 2010. It was a well paying job with excellent benefits, but my body hurt and my spirit was calling for something more meaningful. I began receiving massage to help my healing process and it was during my fourth session that I came to realize this was part of my calling. Since then, I have practiced bodywork, apprenticed on an Ecovillage, studied permaculture in Costa Rica, and hiked all around Utah. I practice yoga, meditation and breath work as part of my continued commitment to presence and wholeness. And most recently have begun a beautiful venture of training in aerial silk performance. The thread that ties all of these passions together is that they all help to bring me into my body and connect with my spirit. It is my intention to help you do the same. Through presence, intention and breath we are able to travel to the deepest parts of ourselves that are asking for love and shine healing light there. Thai massage has it’s roots in ancient healing traditions of Buddhism and Indian Aryuvedic principles . It is commonly referred to as “lazy man’s yoga” combining rhythmic rocking, compression, passive stretching and breath work to promote free flow of energy throughout the entire body. The recipient wears loose, comfortable fitting clothing while the session is performed on a cushioned mat on the ground. One can expect to feel relaxed and revitalized with more spaciousness and balance in the body and mind at the end of a session. Someone very dear to me recently prayed what I could consider to be one of the most beautiful prayers one can offer another. May you heal all that is within you and shine brightly in all that you are. So that the world may be forever changed, starting with yours. In wholeness.
