January is National Blood Donor Month—a time to recognize the lifesaving impact of blood donors and to encourage more people to roll up their sleeves. Winter is one of the most challenging times for blood centers to maintain a steady supply, as holiday schedules, seasonal illnesses, and severe weather often lead to reduced donations. Every donation has the power to save lives, support medical treatments, and bring hope to patients in need. Start the year with a meaningful act of kindness: give blood and help ensure hospitals have the resources they rely on throughout the year.
