Hey All! We at Flourish Family Doulas are looking for two Doula's to join the team. We are a great group of doulas and birth workers who focus on building a strong team and serving any and all clients that need help with their birth.
These two new Doula's will need to either be certified doulas or ready to certify and start the journey of birth and postpartum doula work. One position is located in the Springfield area and the other in the Joplin area. Both of these new team members will need to either already be credential with Missouri Medicaid or be willing to get these credentials in order to help us support more of our community. We have had to turn away a bunch of people in the last few months because our team is completely booked and has no more availability for clients covered by medicaid. We are willing to help any qualified Doula walk through the process to get the proper credentials, once we agree on moving forward together. If you are interested in one of these positions please message me or reach out through our website. We would love to visit about options and determine if this is a good fit for each other.

Calling all families expecting a baby early 2026 - we’ve got the class for you! Doula Jay and Doula Tawni are teaming up to offer a pay what you can childbirth education class on Sunday, December 14th from 10am-2pm. Access to reproductive health education should never be a barrier, especially going into an experience like childbirth. We want you to feel confident and informed!

Our Story

At Flourish we strive to be a nurturing hub of resources for your growing family. We realize that this journey to parenthood is so much more than just the birth and the first few weeks of your babies life. No two families journeys are the same and we know that no one person or service could be everything your family needs, so Flourish has implemented a team of specially trained perinatal professionals. Our team works together to offer care for antenatal, loss, birth, postpartum, and infant sleep. We offer workshops and classes that supplement our doula care and are always continuing to educate ourselves to better serve you.

Flourish’s story began with our founder Kaylen King’s own journey through motherhood with her two boys and her active part of the community. Since 2015 Kaylen has led community groups; Springfield Babywearers and Ahimsa Mama Circle. Kaylen has also served new families through yoga instruction since 2014, and time served in non-profit work at The Doula Foundation. As Flourish continued to expand she realized that including birth services was an obvious next step. All families deserve to have a positive and impactful birthing experience and Jessica McCoy was the perfect person to come alongside our families. Our team members are passionate about their specialty and love working together to give our clients the best support possible. We are intentional about the services we offer and the way we offer it.

Our goal is to continue to expand and grow to meet the needs of parents with our specialized doula team and classes that lift up and empower families so they can truly flourish.
