“413 screams resilience”

Thank you for allowing some fellow graduate students to attend the Rise Up Conference at MassMutual last week. It was a pleasure to hear the keynote speakers and learn about the variety of agencies in the area.

Vianka Acosta ‘26 and Kyana Alvarado ‘24 ‘26 had the amazing opportunity to met Yamilca Nogue, the Chief external relations officer at helix human services. Also in attendance, Sadie Blackwell ‘27 and Christian Escalona ‘27.

Please Join Springfield College in celebrating 2025 National School Counseling Week.
Wednesday February 5- 8-10 AM - Springfield College Student Union.

In addition to celebrating our supervisors and emerging school counselors, this year we are inviting our awesome Alumni who continue to be a part of Springfield College's training of future counselors.

At this year's annual event we will:
- Celebrate the important day to day work and accomplishments of our students, our alumni and our supervisors.
- Provide resources from partner agencies including, Community Legal Aid, Community Mental Health Centers, Girls On the Run, and other community agencies
- Hear from current students and Alumni
- Network with other counselors
- - Discuss the important role of school counselors in today's schools
