Greetings South Shore Residents and Visitors, while we are all enjoying this long weekend at the Lake, keep in mind that in the event of an Emergency the South Shore Fire Department members need to be able to maneuver the streets safely. The Fire Department members not only respond in Ambulances and Fire Trucks, many of our Medical First Responders respond in their private vehicles that have flashing lights in or on them. Please be aware of your surrounds, if you see any vehicle (Emergency or not) please move off and out of the street as quickly and safely as possible. Please keep your pet out of the road or on a leash, emergency vehicles cannot stop or swerve fast enough to avoid hitting them!
