I used to drink a minimum of two-, 16- or 24-ounce energy drinks on workdays. Sometimes three. I liked the taste, and I liked the boost I felt they gave me when I was tired, when I was busy or when I was exercising. I felt like it was a better choice in sugar free than drinking a can of soda. In 202...

Join Responder Health and Dan DeGryse for a training presentation on substance use disorder, on Tuesday, August 12. This topic is often taboo for first responders, yet we know colleagues, friends and family members that have been affected by SUD. Discussing behind closed doors or keeping it a secret only harms individuals further and prohibits a return to wellness and productivity. This training will help you understand the topic better and equip you to assist yourself, your family or a peer when they need it.

This training will highlight: what substance use disorder is, impact and consequences of a SUD, barriers to recovery and an understanding of effective ways to address potential substance use disorders.

Sign up through the QR code on the flyer attached, or at https://www.responderhealth.com/event-details/understanding-substance-use-disorder

Training is Tuesday, August 12 at 8am PDT, 10am CDT, 11am EDT.
