We’re excited that our director, Dr. Paul Ward, will be joining a panel of local experts for The Family Center’s upcoming Community Book Club. It’s always meaningful to be part of conversations that bring parents, caregivers, and professionals together around practical, research-informed approaches to parenting. 📚

Thank you to The Family Center for continuing to create spaces where our community can connect, learn, and share resources that support families. 💙

We were honored to take part in the 4th Annual Special Needs Resource Fair hosted by The Family Center!

Our director, Dr. Paul Ward and one of our clinicians, Dr. Jeremy Novak had a wonderful time connecting with families, caregivers, and fellow providers while sharing resources about psychological services and support for neurodivergent individuals. Events like this create meaningful opportunities for families to learn about the many educational, recreational, medical, and mental health resources available in our community.

A special thank you to The Family Center for organizing such an impactful event and for the incredible work they do to support families across our community. We’re grateful to be part of a network that prioritizes connection, education, and care. 💙

Valentine’s Day can be about more than romance; it can be a gentle reminder to treat yourself with the same care you offer others. 💛

Self-compassion isn’t selfish; it’s a foundation for emotional wellness. Today (and every day), notice how you speak to yourself, honor your needs, and make space for kindness inward. 💌

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is one of the most well-researched and widely used therapies because it gives people practical skills they can use in the real world. 💪

By learning how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors connect, many people find new ways to respond to challenges, stress, and difficult feelings. 🧠

If you’ve ever wondered what CBT is or whether it might be helpful for you, this post is a great place to start. If you’re curious about exploring it in therapy, call our office to get connected. 🤝

For decades, researchers have studied how families organize everyday life and what they’ve found is powerful. 💡

A review spanning 50 years of research shows that naturally occurring family routines and rituals play a meaningful role in supporting family well-being, connection, and resilience over time. 💙

These patterns don’t have to be elaborate or perfect to matter; their strength lies in consistency, shared meaning, and presence. Small, repeated moments can become the foundation for healthier family functioning across the lifespan. 🌱

This season, give yourself permission to pause, take a breath, and notice what’s right in front of you. Small moments of warmth often hold the most joy. ⛄
