The quiverful…… did you know I’m 1 of 6 kids? Because biblically “happy is the man who has his quiver full” translated in our world to “have all the kids”- even if you can’t pay your bills, your house gets repossessed, your family safety is jeopardized. Oddly/ the churches I most related to were not fundamental or radical. It was my parents who chose that path for us. I was steeped in submission, purity culture and fear and shame for most of my childhood. That’s one of the reasons I celebrated my 18th birthday in the Army- escape.
