As I prepare to present as part of the webinar "Skills Over Pills: Harnessing the power of neurobiology for the treatment of COVID-19 trauma and beyond" along with Dr. Alauna Curry, I'm encouraged to come across others in the field that get it.

When discussing trauma-informed care, too often what happens in reality is that old formulas get re-mixed and little, if anything, changes.

I'm excited to be co-presenting during an upcoming webinar with psychiatrist, Alauna Curry MD, about the neurobiology of trauma and how it demonstrates the need for therapists to ALLOW their own unconscious processes to be part of the treatment they provide.
