When I created this formula, one ingredient was non-negotiable, moringa oil.

Not just because it’s trending… but because it’s often called the “oil of kings.” For centuries, moringa has been prized for its rich, conditioning feel and its ability to help restore softness, moisture, and a healthy looking finish.

I chose it intentionally for the way it helps bring a beard back to life without the heavy, greasy weight.

Then I paired it with other carefully selected premium oils to create a formula worthy of the crown.

Because around here… we don’t make average products. We create standards.

Celebrating Black History Month means honoring the Kings standing right beside us. 👑

For me, this mission is deeply personal. After my husband’s diagnosis with prostate cancer, I vowed to create something that didn’t just make him look good, but kept him safe. I realized the products he used daily needed to be as clean as they were luxurious.

I’ve been looking at the analytics from the site relaunch and honestly? I’m just grateful.

It’s scary to change things up. You wonder if people will like the new look, if the new products will resonate, or if you should have just left well enough alone. But the love you all have shown this week has reassured me that we’re on the right track.

People often ask what MLCA stands for in MLCA Lux Aura.

MLCA = Miss Lynn’s Candles of Affirmation.

Miss Lynn is me, Tracee Lynn.

The vision for this brand was spoken over me by my grandmother when I first began making candles in 2007. What started as a purpose led idea rooted in affirmation, intention, and atmosphere eventually became something I knew I would return to.

In 2020, I officially relaunched the brand, carrying the same foundation with greater clarity, refinement, and purpose.

Today, MLCA Lux Aura is a line of clean, non toxic home fragrances and more including candles, bath salts, hand soaps, lotions, carpet fresheners, and evolving lifestyle products designed to shift atmosphere and support intentional living.

MLCA remains the abbreviation to honor the origin which is the vision, the legacy, and the purpose it was built on.
Lux Aura represents the elevation and expansion. Luxury, alignment, and energy you can feel in your space.

MLCA is the foundation. Lux Aura is the evolution.

We’ll continue to grow, evolve, and add. Always rooted in intention, affirmation, and clean luxury.

I chose this photo because it represents the beginning before I had language for it.
That’s me held, covered, and seen by the woman who first spoke this vision over my life. Long before MLCA had a name, long before candles, products, or purpose became clear, there was legacy, love, and belief.

This picture reminds me that what I’m building didn’t start with a business plan, it started with being poured into. And now, everything I create is an extension of that same care, intention, and affirmation.

This isn’t just a brand. It’s legacy in motion.
