There is a growing mental health crisis among American teens, made worse by the COVID-19 pandemic. We need your help to identify, evaluate and create easy-to-use, engaging resources for opening a dialogue about youth mental health in St. Louis.

Our team here at Missouri CEAL is beginning a project to distribute local mental health conversation starters in the St. Louis area. We aim to: help open communication about mental health among adults and kids, share resources with partner organizations and local community members, and evaluate our existing materials.

The Long COVID Information System (LCIS) delivers accurate, easy to digest, and relevant info about Long COVID developed by our team of health communication researchers.

Long COVID is impacting millions and as we learn more about this new illness, information will continue to change rapidly. It can be hard to stay informed and difficult to know how to get proper treatment if you are having symptoms.

Our team is tracking new research findings, interviewing Long COVID healthcare providers, and speaking with people facing Long COVID. We have surveyed 200 people living with Long COVID in St. Louis so that we can address the issues that are important.

Each week, iHeard STL sends a 3-minute survey to 200 community members asking what health information they have heard in the last 7 days. Topics are updated weekly. After analyzing survey responses to identify current health information priorities in the community, we create social media posts and flyers for community partners to share.
