Hey everybody! 👋
✨ We are super excited to introduce one of our newest additions to the team, Craig Carlton, our master's Level Therapist Intern! ✨
Craig brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to our practice, and we couldn't be more excited to have him on board. Get to know Craig below: 👇
"I am dedicated and committed to working with all individuals in the mental health life cycle, and specifically with young African American men and veterans who have experienced multiple complex traumas that impact their ability to function in a healthy manner and show up in society as whole human beings.
I like to meet people exactly where they are, and I utilize an array of counseling styles and methodologies to treat mood disorders, anxiety disorders, unresolved childhood trauma and relationship issues. As a retired naval officer, I have engaged with many diverse groups of people. During my time in the military, I was placed in a plethora of leadership roles where it was required of me to offer guidance and mentorship in practical and useful ways. I look to practice that same level of care, concern, zeal, understanding, patience, and compassion with every client that I am privileged to work with and put them in the driver’s seat on the road to their own healing, hope and restoration.
I am currently in the process of completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Missouri Baptist University, and am set to finish in May of 2025."
