Certified. Refined. Recalibrated.

Core Mastery certification completed through Exercise Therapy Association.

This phase sharpened my ability to assess complex dysfunction across the kinetic chain, with emphasis on transverse trunk rotation, spinal alignment patterns, and lumbar segmental dysfunction patterns including compression, retrolisthesis, and spondylitic presentations.

The framework is built on layered functional assessment—each test narrowing contributing variables and directing clinical decision-making toward the primary driver of dysfunction.

Identify the primary driver, apply a targeted corrective strategy, and implement forward with ongoing reassessment.

Through live case studies in London, UK, we worked with high-complexity presentations involving global compensation across the trunk, pelvis, and shoulder systems.

A consistent pattern emerged: local symptoms rarely reflect local causes, with repeated convergence toward the lumbopelvic–hip complex as a primary driver.

One advanced case involved persistent disc-related presentation in a medical professional, requiring integration of mechanical assessment, clinical history, and imaging to map contributing factors and guide intervention strategy.

This marks my third certification within the system. Each stage continues to sharpen diagnostic clarity and expand my ability to address multi-segment dysfunction with precision.

I will now complete final case study requirements for graduate status and formal recommendation as a Midwest regional pain specialist.

Grateful for time spent training in London with a high-level cohort of professionals committed to applied clinical reasoning and performance-based care. The standard continues to rise—and so does the expectation I place on my work at FreddyFit.

Congratulations to Mena on completing her marathon in France! 🇫🇷🏃‍♀️

Mena sets out—and executes. She does not allow circumstances to alter her commitment. That level of discipline showed up when previous injuries resurfaced and when mental barriers tried to take hold. Her marathon preparation was approached with deep emotional and spiritual resolve.

Seeing her dedicate training sessions to family members showed the kind of person she is—what a disciplined student of life she is. A true fighter with a warrior spirit.

Your dedication, resilience, and consistency are inspiring to everyone around you. I can only imagine how proud your parents, your spouse, and your kids must be.

Congratulations, Dr. Mena, for being an inspiration and a leader who truly leads by example.

Discomfort in the lumbar region is usually the body’s way of asking for attention.
But the lower back itself is rarely the area that needs the most corrective focus.

When the kinetic chain is disrupted, the lumbar spine often becomes the symptom, not the source. A rotated trunk, limited hip mobility, or poor foot mechanics can all shift load into the lower back, forcing it to compensate.

This is why spending your time stretching or massaging the low back — or even getting adjustments — only provides temporary relief. It’s like taking a Tylenol for a headache that keeps coming back.

A problem–corrective daily protocol is what restores true function.
That means:
• Inhibiting overactive tissues that keep the system out of alignment
• Activating underactive muscles so the chain can coordinate correctly
• Addressing rotational imbalances that twist the trunk and overload the lumbar region
• Re-training movement patterns so the body returns to natural, efficient motion

Don’t chase the pain.
Correct the dysfunction that creates it — and the discomfort fades on its own
