The procedure is typically performed by a licensed skincare professional and is intended to improve the overall texture and appearance of the skin, as well as to create a smoother canvas for makeup application.

During a dermaplaning treatment, the skincare professional will typically cleanse the skin and then use the scalpel or tool to gently scrape away the dead skin cells and peach fuzz. The procedure is relatively painless and does not require any anesthesia or downtime. After the treatment, the skin may be slightly red and sensitive for a few hours, but most people are able to return to their normal activities immediately.

To support providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The goal is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. These include, but not limited to: scheduling patients' appointments, checking-in and interviewing patients, collecting chief complaints, vital signs and history, charting the patient encounter in the patient's electronic medical records, completing administrative tasks for health insurance verification, prior authorizations, update and file medical records and insurance reports, setting up tools and preparing patient's for procedures and assisting procedures/surgeries, producing and distributing correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms, preparing and cleaning medical instruments and exam rooms for patient encounters and procedures, fielding phone calls, informing patients lab results, and communicating provider's plan to patients.
Position is 5 days a week, 40 hours. Monday through Friday.
