In this week’s from our spring issue, we’re celebrating the magic that happens when generations come together.

At Cedarhurst of Des Peres, twelve fourth-grade Girl Scouts from Keysor Elementary Troop 1476 joined twelve residents for an afternoon of crafts, conversation, and connection. What started as a simple activity quickly turned into a powerful exchange of stories and shared wisdom.

Laughter echoed through the halls, friendships were formed, and both the young and the young-at-heart walked away with full hearts and a renewed appreciation for one another. This gathering was a beautiful reminder that when generations come together, something truly meaningful unfolds.

We planned Cedarhurst of Des Peres as a way to bring seniors together. To foster a sense of community and connection between residents, caregivers, and staff. That’s because we want Cedarhurst to be the best place you can imagine living. A place providing life-enriching activities, exceptional dining and expert and compassionate caregivers. A place providing a safe environment for seniors in the community they already know and love. And a place where it’s always your life, your home, your way.

With 26 assisted living apartments and 34 memory care apartments, each resident is able to enjoy the independence they want and the care they need in the comfort of a home-like environment. Our expertly trained staff provides support based on the level of care that is needed. Each resident has a customized care plan based on conversations with the family, physicians and our caregiving team.

From the services and amenities to the staff and the building itself, our entire community is here to empower our residents to live life every day with joy and fulfillment.
