🎉 Happy 101st Birthday, Marie Theerman! 🎉

Today we celebrate Marie Theerman, a wonderful resident of Cedarhurst of Des Peres, as she turns 101 years old! Born on August 25, 1924, Marie continues to inspire everyone around her with her kindness, humility, and zest for life.

A lifelong learner and teacher, Marie earned her degree in education with a love for art, and she spent her career shaping young minds. In 1950, she married her sweetheart, Harold, and together they raised two sons, Paul and David. Her family has since grown to include four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who are her pride and joy.

Even now, Marie fills her days with painting, drawing, brain games, music, exercise, outings with friends, and plenty of laughter. Her joy for life shines through everything she does — proving age is truly just a number.

Please join us in wishing Marie a very special 101st birthday! 💐🎂

We planned Cedarhurst of Des Peres as a way to bring seniors together. To foster a sense of community and connection between residents, caregivers, and staff. That’s because we want Cedarhurst to be the best place you can imagine living. A place providing life-enriching activities, exceptional dining and expert and compassionate caregivers. A place providing a safe environment for seniors in the community they already know and love. And a place where it’s always your life, your home, your way.

With 26 assisted living apartments and 34 memory care apartments, each resident is able to enjoy the independence they want and the care they need in the comfort of a home-like environment. Our expertly trained staff provides support based on the level of care that is needed. Each resident has a customized care plan based on conversations with the family, physicians and our caregiving team.

From the services and amenities to the staff and the building itself, our entire community is here to empower our residents to live life every day with joy and fulfillment.
