Family Care Health Centers had an absolute BLAST participating in St. Louis Integrated Health Network's December 2025 meal distribution work. Our Carondelet and Forest Park Southeast offices hosted four amazing local food trucks, Mother’s On Wheels, Jay’s Motor Beast, Speedway Eatery and SoulFull, providing FREE lunch to our patients and people in our community.

THANK YOU to St. Louis Integrated Health Network, United Way of Greater St. Louis, Soulcial Kitchen, Empowered Thriving Communities, Currency of Caring and Food is Love Foundation for providing the funding, coordination and ex*****on of this work that fed so many in St. Louis these great meals. ❤️

Family Care Health Centers is proud and excited to celebrate Dr. Heidi B. Miller who was recently awarded the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians (MAFP) first-ever Presidential Award for Excellence in Family Medicine! Dr. Miller joined FCHC in 2004 as an internal medicine physician who provides medical care for adults and adolescents, and she is also the Chief Medical Officer of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

Dr. Miller received the award at MAFP's 33rd Annual Fall Conference, and while accepting spoke about her inspirations and mentors that have shaped her primary care and clinical career, along with the family physicians who guided her in her early Missouri safety-net clinic practice days.

"Family medicine physicians remain at the center of Missouri's health future - grounding communities, uplifting patient voices, and shaping policy with compassion and clarity," Dr. Miller said.

MAJOR congrats to Dr. Miller for garnering this award, and for her continued services and care at !
