Tomorrow from 11-1 the Meto Market will be here at our Delmar location. If you receive a blood pressure screening and fill out a card, you will receive a voucher that can be used at the Metro Market to receive fresh foods.

People’s Community Action Corporation is proud to launch two new initiatives designed to support healthier living.

EatSMART helps seniors 60 and over build better eating habits with balanced, ready-to-enjoy meals that promote portion control, reduce waste, and improve food security.

RestSMART focuses on reducing stress and anxiety, improving sleep, strengthening focus, and supporting healing. Join us for our first RestSMART workshop on September 11 at 5:30 PM at 5701 Delmar.

Together, these programs promote nutrition, balance, and well-being across our community.

We were proud to welcome large crowds and provide support to our neighbors with essential items, food, gift cards, and free health screenings. Events like this are all about lifting up our community—and your coverage helps spread the word about the resources available.
