3 Postpartum Stretches that don’t require a mat or for you to get on the floor. One of the biggest complaints I hear from postpartum people is that their neck and shoulders are achy and tired from rounding over their baby all the time. These simple stretches will help to loosen the chest neck and shoulders while adding some strength to the upper back for long-term relief. These stretches are also wonderful for anybody who has been staring at a device or a book all day and needs to give their neck a break.

Hey Mamas, if you were going to go on a yoga retreat, specifically for moms, let's say in Puerto Rico in February of 2027, how many nights would be ideal? Are there specific days that feel easier to be away from your family? For example, would you like to leave on a Monday morning, spend 5 nights restoring in a beautiful location with mountain views, nourishing food and daily yoga and meditation practice, and be back to your family by Saturday evening? Is 5 nights too long? Not long enough for the travel time? What are your thoughts? We'd love to hear what would be the easiest way for you to getaway without feeling overwhelmed by it.

My top three tips for preparing yourself for an unmedicated birth are 1) Mind 2) Body 3) Breath. Get your subconscious mind in the same space as your conscious mind through hypnosis or even affirmations. Get your body in balance with Yoga chiropractic care, massage, etc.. Practice, calming breathing techniques, such as a longer exhale than inhale to hack your nervous system into trusting the birth process. There’s so much more to know that can’t fit into even hundreds of Instagram posts. I highly recommend that you take a class that is focused on unmedicated birth to help prepare you on every level for your baby’s birthday.
