KOR Resilience Strategies Resilience Strategist for Executive Caregivers. About this space and my coaching:

Welcome! So glad you’re here! What does that mean?

NLP Practitioner & Integrative Health Coach
Specializing in Mindset, Proactive Physiological Support, and Environmental Calibration. My name is Loryl Dawn Breitenbach and I am a certified IIN Health Coach and NLP Master Coach and Trainer. It means I am committed to empowering you to take charge of your health both in Body as well as Mind. Neuro Linguistic Programing (NLP) is where the Mind part of the equation comes in. NLP is the science behind how to use our inner and outer dialogue to consistently achieve our specific and desired outcomes. Some may compare it to Mindset Coaching. Except here we will use scientifically proven methods to create lasting change. The best thing about this is that the positive changes you create will have a ripple effect throughout your family, including your kids! This is where my passion lies. As Parents we tend to put our needs last as we juggle all the things that come with parenting. A new level of juggling mastery is unlocked when a child, spouse or parent has extra-ordinary health needs. Putting on our oxygen mask first is absolutely essential for thriving through these times and truly being present when it's needed most. In this space we advocate hard for those who depend on us and even harder for ourselves!

The Founder’s Story: The Rhythm of Resilience

I spent 30 years as a professional dancer and choreographer. In that world, I learned that you don’t wait for the mountain to move—you find the rhythm that allows you to move over it.

I’ve always been fascinated with human behavior. From the way behavior initiates or results from movement, from artifacts that behavior leaves behind, and now through Neuro Linguistic Programing (NLP). But my greatest research didn't happen in a classroom; it happened in the trenches.

While serving as the "Chief Everything Officer" for my family—navigating 8FED diets, medical infusions, and the heavy weight of advocacy—I faced my own steepest climb: a breast cancer diagnosis.

It was in that moment I had to make a radical choice. I had to say YES to my own health while the world was demanding I say yes to everyone else. I chose a more natural healing path focusing on the science of Psychoneuroimmunology and reclaiming my cellular terrain.

I learned that chronic stress isn't just a feeling; it’s a biological environment that dictates whether your cells repair or wither. By masterfully "choreographing" my mindset, my nutrition, and my physical space, I learned we can shift our bodies from a state of crisis to a state of healing.

But this isn’t just about my dance or my diagnosis. It’s about a pattern I see everywhere: people waiting for a ‘yes’ from the system, a sign from the universe, or permission from an expert before they feel allowed to lead their own lives. We get out of rhythm. We stall. We give our power away to the mountain instead of moving over it.

I’m here to help you take the lead again.
I’ve combined 30 years of choreography with the science of Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI) and the tools of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) to help you choreograph a life of radical agency.
Whether navigating a medical mountain, a high-stakes career, or the heavy fog of chronic overwhelm, the mechanism is the same. When we feel powerless, our biology follows suit. We get stuck in “fight or flight”, our systems stall, and we begin to give away our agency.

I’m Loryl. I am an NLP Coach and PNI Guide. I don’t remove the mountain—I help you find the rhythm and movement to navigate it with authority and provide the tools to reframe your choreography over any mountain you're climbing.

We often find ourselves in environments or situations where we’ve forgotten we don’t need permission to lead our own lives. Has this ever happened to you? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

The new year is upon us…. And the one thing many tend to do this time of year is create new years resolutions that reach and strive for balance….

One of the things I’ve come to realize is that reaching or striving for that perfect balance is not real nor attainable, and at what cost?

I’d like to offer a different perspective- (So here comes the dance metaphor….who would’ve guessed 😉)

To me, Balance is a tipping point. If you think of a dancer balancing on one leg, or even break it down scientifically to a geometric shape of a pyramid or upside down cone, if any one of those are perfectly balanced…

What’s the only way to move in any direction?
….simply to fall out of that balance.

We all do this everyday… it’s called walking. In order to move forward you must allow yourself to fall off that balance ie: standing erect, then catch yourself by taking a step.

In order to keep moving forward we must fall…
Catch ourselves
And rise….

Mapped out this rise and fall looks a lot like what a heart beat, or any musical beat or rhythm would look like.

Building sustainable strategies and finding our own Rhythm of Resilience is the key to long term success.

So this year, instead of striving for that perfect balance, although beautiful, it’s short lived.
Choreograph a life with the rhythm of resilience. Where each day you rise, and choose your steps for lasting success.

Keep on Rising….

Loryl

I hear today is the Winter Solstice: resulting in the shortest day, longest night, and least daylight of the year, marking the official start of winter.

That means tomorrow holds more light than today.

One of my favorite poems begins:

Set your sails up through the night, for even in the dark there is light…..

In honor of the winter solstice and celebrating the light that is ahead, I’ve put together some of my favorite quotes on the subject. May they inspire your journey through the dark AND the light.

All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.
-St. Francis of Assisi

No matter how dark, there is always light if you keep moving forward….

Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all the darkness.
-Desmond Tutu

Those who can find the light in the darkness will always be VICTORIOUS.

The darkness that is around you, is meant to expose the light within you.

It is in the darkness that one finds the light.
-Meister Eckhart

A seed neither fears light nor darkness, but uses both to grow.

If everything around us seems dark- look again. You may be the light.
-Rumi
