🌟Meet Dr. David Ardaya, P3 Facilitator & Practice Growth Champion🌟

As President of Golden, Ardaya & Lin Optometry, Inc., Dr. David Ardaya brings a passion for leadership, collaboration, and shared success to the PERC Pinnacle Practices (P3) community.

A longtime PERC member turned study group facilitator, David knows the power of peer support firsthand- his own practice saw a 6% increase in EBITDA in just one year after joining! He credits P3 with not only transforming his business but enriching his life through meaningful friendships and collective growth.

Known for fostering a culture of trust and generosity, David creates space for practice leaders to elevate one another with insight, encouragement, and accountability.

When he’s not supporting fellow ODs, you’ll find David strumming his guitar (“poorly,” he says), blasting classic rock, or dreaming of Lake Como in the fall. His most meaningful travel goal? Taking his kids to Bolivia and Taiwan to connect with their heritage.

He lives in Southern California with his wife, whom he asked out on the very first day of optometry school, and their two incredible children: Olivia, a future scientist heading to UCLA, and Dylan, a high school sophomore who loves running and Science Olympiad.

Meet Dr. Alyssa Putman, owner of Oasis EyeCare in Elmira, NY, and one of the 2024 Golden Opportunity Award recipients!

With the $50,000 grant, Dr. Putman was able to:
• Upgrade her medical technology
• Launch specialty dry eye services
• Expand her team
• Offer free biannual clinics to her community

Meet Dr. Melissa Macco, one of the 2024 Golden Opportunity Award recipients, and a powerful example of what this award makes possible.

As the owner of Family First Eye Care in Reno, NV, Dr. Macco has already begun using the $50,000 grant to make a meaningful difference in her community.

Thanks to the award, she has:
• Partnered with the Washoe County Lions Club to provide free exams and glasses
• Outfitted a second exam room and added new technology, including a virtual field machine
• Delivered care to underserved patients, including children on Nevada Medicaid

“From day one of opening, this award has allowed us to serve those who need it most,” says Dr. Macco. And she’s just getting started. Next on her list? Adding OCT technology to improve care for patients with glaucoma and other medical conditions.
