This past weekend, members of the Black Healers Collective showed up in community at Family Fun Day in O’Fallon Park, hosted by the Missouri Dept. of Conservation and local partners. With so much loss and recovery still unfolding after last month’s tornado, we were honored to offer a healing presence through listening, connection, and resource sharing. Deep gratitude to all the neighbors, families, and fellow organizers who made space for care, joy, and restoration in nature.

As Hispanic Heritage Month kicks off, let’s celebrate the vibrant cultures, incredible stories, and undeniable strength of Hispanic and Latine communities. This is a time to reflect on the power of our/your roots, the beauty of healing, and the importance of carrying forward the legacies of those who came before us.

We also also honor the independence days of countries like Costa Rica 🇨🇷 , El Salvador 🇸🇻, Guatemala 🇬🇹, Honduras 🇭🇳, Nicaragua 🇳🇮 (yesterday- Sept 15), Mexico 🇲🇽 (today- Sept 16), and Chile 🇨🇱(Sept 18). These moments of freedom and resilience inspire us to keep pushing forward for justice and liberation.
