July is Disability Pride Month. We celebrate the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in 1990. This month we take time to acknowledge the difficulties this population has faced, raise awareness for the various types of disabilities, promote inclusion, and honor the contributions people with disabilities make everyday. Together we can make a difference.
