What is a “yoga vacation”?
When I accepted the invitation to bring The Stillness Practices™ down to St. Croix, I thought it might be fun—definitely fun—to open the trip up and let a few folks crash my Airbnb and hang out.
What I thought would be 2 or 3 people quickly turned into about 12… so we rented a bed and breakfast and opened the doors to more.
We had people celebrating graduations, birthdays, and big life milestones. Writers and photographers. Free spirits and executives. Some journaled while others snorkeled. Some snorkeled instead of vinyasa, and some skipped vinyasa entirely and opted only for the naps I taught in the afternoons (yoga nidra).
But every single one of them? Open-minded, incredibly kind, and uniquely able to contribute their own energy, skills, and presence to the moment. Thank you - Sharon, Shelby, Macy, Nora, Eric, Kelly, Laura, Lisa, Beth, Cindy, Linda, Bob, Jimmy, Kathy, Jules, Nicole, Cindy, Rachael, Anthony, Traci, Jamie, and Clara for making this trip exactly what it needed to be ✨🫶🏼🌴🌊🌺
Here we are, capturing our group photos for the Webster Kirkwood Times.
Now the big question:
Which one should we send in?
