I had the tremendous pleasure of working with 15 families in 2025, and for the first time in my whole career as a doula, had a very balanced year of boy and girl babies!

These onesies each represent a special new baby who joined the world this year, and my time with each of these families taught me new things, brought special connections, and started lasting relationships. I am so grateful for each of these families who trusted me to support them this year.

Celebrating eight years in business as a postpartum doula!

I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to learn and grow as a professional. This year has brought its share of challenges, as it's a difficult time to own a small business. But that makes me even more grateful for every family I get to serve, every referral I receive, and every big and small way that I feel so supported. Thank you!

Check out this fantastic opportunity for new moms (with kids 0-2 years) in the St. Louis area. This program is led by a friend of mine who has great experience in both working with families and hiking! This sounds like a great opportunity to meet other moms, get some fresh air and gentle exercise, and enjoy some beautiful fall scenery.

The program is offered through Parkway-Rockwood Community Ed, but is open to anyone in the St. Louis area, regardless of school district.

Did you know that at least 1 in 10 dads experience symptoms of a mood or anxiety disorder after a new baby joins their family? Postpartum Support International offers free support tailored to dads experiencing depression or anxiety. Mental health for dads is so rarely discussed, and even knowing that you are not alone can mean so much.

You are always welcome to reach out for referrals and recommendations for moms, dads, or anyone who would benefit from mental health support. In addition to national resources like Postpartum Support International, we have many local mental health professionals who specialize in working with new parents.
