Join us on Saturday, December 2nd from 11am-6pm for our 1 Year Anniversary Sale!

This year has been full of highs and lows in our lives, but one thing we’re grateful for is celebrating our first year at our storefront!

Since we could not have made it this far without all of our awesome customers, we really want to celebrate YOU! We’re going to have an afternoon of giveaways, raffles, shopping and even creating!

All customers will have an opportunity to make your own customized keychain. The keychain station will be family-friendly and fun for all ages. Parent supervision is expected for kids, but we definitely want them to join in the fun!

We’ll be raffling off a handmade leather tote bag 👜 and one of our most popular wallets, having giveaway bags for the first 20 shoppers ($30 value), and a free gift with purchase!

Introducing our newest addition to the team.

Jane Elise!

Right now her skills are pretty limited she can pretty much only eat, sleep, snuggle and p**p. But we think she’s going to turn into a great addition.

She joined our family on Tuesday, October 24, weighing 8lbs 12oz, and 21 1/4 inches long.

We are all adjusting to life as a family of 4 so the store will stay closed next week but I’ll still be shipping online orders (which will go directly to the diaper fund 🤣)

Feeling so thankful and blessed for a healthy baby and a safe pregnancy for Jill. Like in everything Jill has been such an awesome Mom, couldn’t be more proud of her.

💥 FALL EVENT SCHEDULE 💥

We’ve got a busy month ahead with a lot of events for you to come and see Ansgar Leather Co! Over the next few weeks, our store hours will fluctuate a bit as needed. Be sure to check back on our Instagram often for the most up-to-date store hours.

That being said… we’re pumped to be at Art Outside Festival this weekend - starting TONIGHT! Our shop will be closed tomorrow (Saturday 9/9), but here’s where to find us this weekend:

SCHLAFLY ART OUTSIDE FESTIVAL:

SAT: 11am-9pm
SUN: 11am-4pm

TOWER GROVE FARMERS MARKET:
SAT: 8am-12:30pm

Just a heads up for all the market folk! The market will have a location change for one week, we’ll be just across magnolia. Don’t fret there will still be TONS of vendors and goods to browse. AND it’s going to be in the 70s-80s!! Come celebrate the end of this brutal heatwave with us!

*WE ARE OPEN*

We want to thank everyone for your patience and understanding with Ansgar Leather as we had to close our shop for the last few weeks. We are deeply saddened to share that my father, Svein Ansgar Staaby, passed away on July 5th. We miss him terribly, but also find peace in that he is no longer suffering and now with Jesus.

The inspiration for our company name came from my dad’s middle name. My father was born in Norway, and while we share the same first name, he did not give me his awesome middle name as well. I knew I wanted to use Ansgar for my business. My father was a hard worker and carpenter who always had been gifted with his hands. I hope to honor his life and legacy with the same work ethic, craftsmanship, and kindness through Ansgar Leather.

Our store is now back OPEN with normal hours: Wednesday-Saturday 11am-5pm (and Tuesdays by appointment). Don’t forget you can also find us at Tower Grove Farmers Market on Saturdays from 8am-12:30pm. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
