We're happy to announce that our client was able to avoid trial in September after the insurance company agreed to pay the policy limits of $1,250,000.00. Initially, it offered only $40,000.00 which required my client to file a lawsuit and for us to push the case to the brink of trial. Similarly, we were supposed to go to trial a few weeks ago, but the we were able to get it resolved a few days prior to trial for $1,500,000.00. After several years, they had not made any offers until we were two months away from trial. It's important to show the other side you're serious and that you have lawyers that aren't afraid to go to trial.
