After several years, we were finally able to get my client's case to trial. Initially, the insurance company offered $44,000.00 (a couple thousand more than the medical bills without accounting for any lost wages). They offered $100,000.00 a few months before trial. My client turned it down and chose to let a jury decide. I am honored to share that the jury valued what was taken from my client at $1,383,000.00. This outcome is a powerful reminder of the importance of our civil justice system and the dedication of jurors who carefully considered the facts and rendered a value on the harms caused by the Defendant.
