The community at A Gathering Place is saddened to learn of the closing of The Healing Arts Center. We are here to support HAC's current students and registered students for the January 2026 term.

We want to support you as you finish your studies, so you can pass the massage licensing exam, and become state licensed.
The bi-state area needs qualified Massage Therapists and we are ready to help.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Tom Tessereau, his family, the HAC students and staff, and this impactful decision.

Our students had SO Much Fun practicing full body stretching for their clients. Such Energy, Fun, and Compassion!

The students learned about using warmed bamboo tools as a type of "gua sha" technique to improve circulation and promote healing. This technique has its roots in Chinese medicine, used to "scrape away illness" and promote energy flow.

Our students received quite the compliment from their clients in the Student Clinic. All student tips gathered for June were donated to 100roofs.com to help in the Tornado relief efforts!

"Rainbows for Kids" Mom's Day!
Our students, Annie and Carla, and graduate, Janet, joined Sally Rains' team of volunteers to offer the moms of kids with cancer, a little pampering. Many of these moms were receiving massage for the first time as their focus is caring for their kid's needs. It was an honor to join other volunteers to offer the moms some needed TLC. The moms could enjoy massage, hair cuts, foot soaks, nails, makeup, yoga, and a delicious meal at Orlando's in south county.
We had so much Fun giving back!
The smiles and open hearts said it all!
