You probably didn't know but today is digital wellness day. I think this is likely one of the most important issues right now impacting most of us more than we know or want to know, and that doesn't get enough dialogue. I recently attended an all day training on digital wellness and it helped me become more mindful of healthy & unhealthy electronic usage. I will attach a link to the digital wellness institute and they have some nice information on digital flourishing. Some quick pointers: use technology mindfully, mindless scrolling (shorts) is more of a mental health problem, don't start your day with electronics, set boundaries with your devices at work and with friends, parents - use screen limits for your teens that are built into smart phone capabilities for parents but don't completely take away access as this can backfire. Instagram is one of the worst for mental health, YouTube is one of the better ones.
