Enjoy a special showing in the main theater of the documentary film
My Mama Joe, Hope & Help, followed by panel discussion. Caregivers
have the option to watch the film with their loved one living with
dementia...or receive a 2-hour break, by checking them into the adjacent
theater for a movie option designed especially for those with dementia.
To ensure a welcoming experience, both theaters will be supported by
caring staff from Memory Care Home Solutions.

This is a FREE, public event that is appropriate for all ages and
audiences. Attendees will receive popcorn, soft drink, and a
workbook of resources.

The Fourth of July is full of excitement🎆For someone living with dementia, the sounds, crowds, and fireworks can be overwhelming. A few simple steps can help keep the celebration safe and enjoyable for everyone:

💙 Create a calm, quiet space away from the crowds where your loved one can rest or regroup.
🎧 Have earplugs or noise-canceling headphones ready to reduce confusion when fireworks begin.
🔥 Stay vigilant around fireworks, grills, and open flames to avoid safety risks.

With a little planning, your holiday can be both joyful and dementia-friendly.
