Attend this 3-hour CE course geared towards practice within home health and outpatient settings. This course provides the therapist with an impressive and comprehensive aggregation of examination, evaluation and treatment tools that work in the outpatient setting to improve the functioning of the pulmonary system. The session will review key considerations and opportunities for home health and outpatient practitioners to consider a paradigm shift - one that goes beyond routine care and argues for a greater focus on lifestyle behavior change that will improve pulmonary symptomology, deconditioning and activity tolerance.

Attend this 3-hour course on using supplemental oxygen. The purpose of this course is to provide an up-to-date comprehensive review of oxygen therapy that will guide clinicians in caring for adult patients with respiratory compromise. Therapists working with patients who demonstrate hypoxemia at rest and/or with activity are likely to benefit from a discussion that focuses on the evidence that supports the use of supplemental oxygen to improve exercise tolerance and prevent long term effects of hypoxemia. Specific knowledge related to oxygen supplementation will maximize safety and function in patients with hypoxemia.
