What will there be to do at the in person Party
• Meet new and old friends
• Ventriloquist
• Great Food
• Photo Booth (wheelchair accessible) with 4"x6" prints.
• Dice Games (for those 13 and older)
• Face Painting
• Santa : Santa will be handing out a small gift to each child 12 and younger.
We will be electing Board Members for the 2021 year. If you would like to serve we would love to have you. The only commitment is to attend the Board meeting (held virtually) - usually the 3rd Monday evening of each month.
For the Drive By option we will provide some gifts for the children and other items tbd.
In order to have enough food & gifts, please RSVP no later than November 22nd.

SBSTL Would like to invite you 4 different Virtual Party events this Sunday December 13. Details of each are listed below.


Two events will start at 4:00 and two others are 4:30

Before The Party
Ensure you have a computer or mobile device with a we**am / camera and microphone
Ensure you have access to a reliable moderate to strong internet connection
If accessing the party on a mobile device, download the “ZOOM Cloud Meetings” app

Entering The Party
Click the meeting link and follow the prompts to be brought into the Zoom meeting, ensuring your video and microphone are switched on.
We recommend joining the meeting at least 5 minutes prior to the start time to ensure you have time to set up and troubleshoot any technical difficulties.
If joining early, you may have to wait in the meeting “waiting room” until you are admitted by the meeting host (the entertainer).
Once in the meeting, rename your screen name to the name of your child/children on the screen. This will allow the entertainer to refer to them by name
The entertainer will appear on screen and begin the entertainment at the party start time.

At The Party
Each room will run for 30 minutes.
There will then be a brief 2 minute break for you exit the first session and enter the second session.
We recommend changing rooms at the 30 minute mark to coincide with the start of the next session

Spina Bifida of St. Louis

Due to the restrictions from St. Louis County we are having a Virtual Walk Run ‘N Roll this year. This year’s Walk Run ‘N Roll is sponsored by Cardinal Glennon and Ranken Jordan.

We invite all of the teams to walk locally in your neighborhood or somewhere in the city and take lots of pictures. Pictures can be posted to our private or public pages. Dress up as if you were in person at the Walk and let’s see some great team spirit. If you have family or friends who live far away have them provide a picture with a sign of where they’re from.

We do have the fundraising goals that we have had previous years. Every team is eligible to win a prize. If your team raises over the following amounts you'll receive the prizes as noted:

• $150 - Free T-Shirt
• $500 - Free T-Shirt and a $25 Gift Card
• $1000 - Free T-Shirt and a $50 Gift Card
• $1500 - Free T-Shirt and a $100 Gift Card
• $2000 - Free T-Shirt and a $200 Gift Card

Information about the T-Shirt will be coming out in the near future.

Through your continued support we can continue to provide grants to a large number of families, provide packets of information for newly expectant parents and families after the birth along with providing social programs throughout the year. Due to covid-19 a number of events this year have been cancelled , we are still optimistic we’ll be able to hold the Christmas Party but will be making a final decision later this year.

We have switched to a new platform for the fundraising in an effort to cut down on administrative costs from the previous site.

If you would like to Create a Team for the first time on the site you can follow these instructions.
On the main page click on “I Want to Fundraise For This”, Choose “Create a Team”. On the next screen you’ll create a Give Lively Account. After you create an account you’ll name your team and customize the page with the information about your team.
Once you have a team page created you can send the link for your team page directly out to your friends, family, co-workers, clients, etc..

Spina Bifida of St. Louis

In these uncertain times I hope everyone is doing well. As parents of children with Spina Bifida or Adults with Spina Bifida we’re used to stress and challenges related to our health. When it comes to Covid it has nothing with what we go through year after year with Spina Bifida.

Unfortunately we have had to cancel both the Fishing Derby and the Spring Retreat this year. I really enjoy the time at Babler as many of you do as well. We’ll have to make the retreat in 2021 the best ever.

The Golf Scramble we have also moved from June to be on September 26th. This was necessary so we weren’t reaching out to the many small businesses and vendors that we work with to request donations when they themselves have enough challenges going on right now.

Here is the current calendar as it stands for the rest of the year. After our Board Meeting on the night of April 20th (which we’re doing via Zoom) we’ll have better dates for Bowling and the Zachary’s Playground events. Updates will be made to the website http://www.sbstl.org along with our Facebook group with the dates.
