Y’all share your babies with me, so here’s mine. He’s loved Spider-Man since he could walk, and has had some sort of Spidey suit in his closet since his second Halloween. So a Spider-Man themed prom suit made perfect sense. 💙🕷️❤️. The most accurate cliche in parenting is “the nights are long, but the years are short.”

3 babies in 8 days after spending the week before back in Galveston. 😵‍💫 Massive thanks to for supporting my clients while I was gone with clarity and strength. I knew I was leaving them in great hands and I was not wrong!! Welcome to the world, new babies!!! Also, I was so pumped to see this bluebonnet photo on the wall at - making this Texan feel like she was back at home!! Pics I took in G-Town of roller coasters, waves, and calm beaches - all metaphors for the births I rolled back into town and supported.

It’s been a while since I posted here, but in that while there have been babies. Here’s a few from the last month or so… my baseball mom chair came in clutch when the chair in the room sucked, mood lights, with my birth BFF 🥜, and an OR selfie because birth doesn’t always go the way you planned. Thank you to every family who allows me to be present for so many genuinely precious moments. 😊

Happy Mother’s Day to y’all! To the ones who are brand new mothers (pic one, my first Mother’s Day with all 3, scroll to see my day today), to those who long to be mothers, to those who are missing their mothers, to those with difficult mother/child relationships, to the dog or cat mothers, and the ones who take care of our babies while we work. We now have a super clean back patio, I got a nap, and we had a late dinner after an even storm blew through. I’m so thankful to be these boys’ mom. Every day for the last almost 16 years, they have brought me joy, love, laughter, and countless sticks, rocks, hugs, and kisses.

Spent a few hours at the Botanical Gardens today to stop and smell everything but the roses. 💐 I went ahead and got a membership - let’s meet here for a consult, a prenatal appointment, or have a place to walk around in early labor.

I always ask my clients what type of baby wearing devices they have to help them get through parenting because it’s how we survived the early years. We both had around the house carriers, in the car carriers, and extra ones stashed everywhere. Find the carrier that works best for you and your body type and live that hands-free parenting lifestyle! And maybe when they’re taller than you, they’ll still hop on for a ride. 🥰

Yesterday was a tale of two cities, welcoming 2 babies who came into the world about 3 minutes apart. Supporting one in-person in St. Louis (with Dad’s Buccee’s cup in the room) and the other virtually back in Houston. Both are J named babies. Both women were strong, powerful, and made decisions for 2 days in the their respective hospitals to get their babies here healthy and safely. Babies J&J are very loved.
