We are pleased to announce that our donation link has been approved and is now active. The Northeast Ambulance and Fire Protection District is working to bring a Safe Haven Baby Box to our fire station located at 7100 Natural Bridge Road, St. Louis County, MO 63121.

Members of our department will be out in the community supporting fundraising efforts for this important initiative. With profound sadness, the St. Louis Fire Department mourns the passing of Firefighter Franchot O’Neal, an active member of our department with 33 years of dedicated service.

Firefighter O’Neal devoted his life to serving others with professionalism and unwavering dedication. His kindness, compassion, and presence touched countless lives within our department and throughout the community he proudly served.

We extend our sincerest condolences to Firefighter O’Neal’s family and to all those whose lives he enriched through his service.

Funeral arrangements will be forthcoming and shared when available.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the St. Charles County Ambulance District and the family of Sarah McCarthy. She was a dedicated public servant, a wonderful mother, and a loving wife. This is a truly sad and tragic loss.
