The employees of the Northeast Ambulance and Fire Protection District would like to sincerely thank our residents for coming out, supporting Proposition F, and voting YES on the initiative. Your support allows the Fire District to continue providing high-quality emergency services to our community.

Once again, we extend our appreciation to everyone who took the time to participate. On a personal note, it was a pleasure meeting many of our residents and having the opportunity to build stronger relationships with both community members and council representatives while at the polls.

ST. LOUIS — Y’all showed OUT! 🔥

We want to give a HUGE thank you to everybody who pulled up and supported our community car wash fundraiser. The love was real, the energy was high, and we made some solid connections while having a great time doing it!

Major shoutout to the Rare Breed Motorcycle Club of St. Louis for sliding through and dropping off a check from their skating fundraiser last weekend — that’s real community support right there and we appreciate it heavy!

And we can’t forget our firefighters and paramedics who came out on their OFF DAY to put in work washing cars… that dedication doesn’t go unnoticed 💪🏽

This is what it looks like when a community comes together for a purpose. We’re getting closer to the goal because of ALL of you!

Proposition F is on the April 7th ballot, to enact a 1% sales tax. Half of the revenue generated by the 1% sales tax will be returned to property owners through real estate and property tax reductions annually. Those who are not residents do not currently contribute towards funding the North East Ambulance Fire Protection District.

Proposition F ensures that everyone who lives in, works in, shops in, and commutes through our community will contribute to the funding emergency services.

Please vote YES on Proposition F!

Good afternoon family,

As many of you know we here at the firehouse are working on many fundraising projects to acquire our safe haven baby box. Today we have a favor to ask.

Were currently working on a fundraising project and we are in need of as many plastic baby bottles as possible — larger size, plastic ONLY. They can be new or used and in any condition.

If you have any old baby bottles at home that are no longer being used, or if friends or family have some sitting around, or you happen to see them at resale shops or thrift stores, please consider grabbing them. We will gladly make arrangments to come to your location to pick them up or you can drop them off here at the Fire Stations head quarters located at 7100 Natural Bridge Road 63121

Thank you all in advance — we appreciate you.

Today we remember one of our own

Today we honor and remember EMT Scherese Bishop. On March 11, 2011, EMT Scherese Bishop died in the line of duty after collapsing eight days earlier while administering CPR to an individual in cardiac arrest.

EMT Bishop served with the Northeast Ambulance and Fire Protection District for three years. She was often called upon at home day and night to assist the community. She left behind her 7-year old daughter, who has now completed her EMT training with the same department her mother served.

We will never forget the life and legacy of EMT Scherese Bishop
