Global Health Scholars Gloabl Health Scholars in Internal Medicine Dr. David Windus coordinated these educational experiences which were sponsored by Dr. Jack Ladenson.

In 2007, Washington University Department of Internal Medicine began providing international experiences in Bhutan and Eritrea to nurture residents with Global Health interests. Residents participating in these rotations reported positive impact on their sensitivity to social and cultural factors that influence health outcomes. Sustained interest in these international experiences has led to the c

reation of Global Health Scholars in Internal Medicine. This program expands and formalizes global health education in our internal medicine residency.
