The final count for the videos are in and the winner was the very sweet video from our ladies in triage. This did truly reflect our mission here at Premier Pediatrics.

All of us know what it feels like to be a concerned parent and we do strive to do our best everyday to help you through every milestone, every sleepless night, those challenging teenage years, and the transition into adulthood.

This week was our 4th annual Housecup Competittion!

From the bakers making their best bar dessert, to the chefs making their best pasta with meatball, suduko and logic puzzles for the brains, a tournament of checkers, a blind taste test, the competitiveness in the office was real.

Due to a shortage of some imported raw materials that go into making many of our medical supplies including the nitrile gloves, we are limited on the amount of supplies that we can order.

We kindly ask that you please do not use or take the medical supplies that are used in the exam rooms so that we can ensure that we have the supplies needed to properly take care of our patients.

Last week’s telephone outage was a great reminder of how useful having a MyChart set up for your child can be. As much as we love hearing from you and having most of our communications through telephone, it is nice to have a back up for when technology is not doing what it should be doing.

The attached photo provides information on how to get you and your child set up with a MyChart account.

For patients 12 to 17 there is an extra step for a parent to obtain proxy access. Please call our office at 314/859-4000 so we can provide you with the forms if your child is in this age group.

Please note, we are currently experiencing a telephone outage. This has affected our office and our medical exchange. Unfortunately the only way to reach us is by sending My Chart messages. Premier Pediatrics will be open tomorrow Monday January 26 at 8am.

Please note, due to road conditions, school cancellations, and cancelled travel, we will not be fully staffed.

Please be kind and patient with the staff that are able to make it in. They are going to make sure to give you the Premier Care that you are used to receiving but wait times on phones and responses to My Chart messages may take longer than what you are accustomed to.

Our providers tomorrow will be: Dr. Anderson (starting at 10), Dr. Foersterling (starting at 1), and Dr. Rohatgi (starting at 8.)

If you have an appointment and cannot make it in due to the cold or road conditions, that is ok, but please cancel through My Chart before the office opens or call us during the first hour tomorrow so the slots can go to other patients in need.

Thank you for your understanding and please stay warm and safe out there.
