On August 31st we walk for the lives stolen too soon, we gather for the families who grieve, and we stand together to end the stigma.

This week St. Louis Black Harm Reduction Coalition hosted a powerful healing circle right here at MoNetwork.

Together they painted purple ribbons to honor loved ones lost to overdose, marking International Overdose Awareness Day. The wall now carries those names, stories, and memories — a visual reminder of love, grief, and resilience.

The feedback has been incredible — so many people shared how meaningful and healing the experience was.

We are grateful to support and partner with this amazing coalition, and we’re excited to see all the ways they will continue to bring connection, care, and change to the community.

Someone said these words to me, and they will be forever etched in my heart:

“If you hadn’t loved me when I hated myself the most, I would’ve never had hope.”

That’s it. That’s harm reduction.
It’s radical love showing up in the wreckage.
It’s compassion when shame is screaming the loudest.
It’s whispering “you still matter” to someone who can’t believe it yet.

This is why we do this work. Because love — fierce, stubborn, radical love — is what makes hope possible.
And hope is what keeps people alive.💙

Love gets louder. Stigma gets smaller. 🫶

Outreach at South Public Park has been such a powerful experience — and we couldn’t be more grateful to Real Life Ministries for inviting us to join their Saturday cookout and outreach. Partnering like this reminds us that community care doesn’t happen in silos. When community orgs link arms, more people get seen, supported, and loved.

You can find us there every third Saturday of the month, showing up with supplies, naloxone, and compassion. It’s been awesome so far — and we’re just getting started. 🌳💙

Food isn’t the name of our game — but the need is real. People are hungry, and sharing a meal builds connections! 🍽️

A huge thank you to DBSA St. Louis Empowerment Center for today’s generous food donation. Because of their kindness, we were able to feed all of our in-house participants and everyone we connected with during outreach — two days in a row our people have enjoyed full, healthy meals! 🥗💪

It’s always extra special when community partners think of us and show up in ways that meet real needs. We appreciate you! ❤️

🚨💙SECOND SATURDAY SERVE UP! 💙🚨

Tomorrow we’re back at it with ALL the good vibes, community love, and harm reduction hustle! 🙌✨ This is where we roll up our sleeves, link arms, and get busy making a difference together.

We’ll be packing kits, cottons, and naloxone so our outreach team can keep showing up strong for the people who need it most. Every bag, every kit, every conversation matters — and YOU can be part of it. 💪
