300 hours. Eight women. One incredible journey.

Today, these eight incredible women crossed a finish line that most people never even attempt.

Our 300-Hour Advanced Teacher Training graduates officially completed one of the most transformative journeys you can take in yoga, and I am just so excited for all of their future students.

These women showed up, did the hard work, sat with the uncomfortable questions, and came out the other side more themselves than ever before.

This wasn't just about learning more yoga. It was about going deeper, getting honest, and growing in ways that are going to ripple out into every class they teach, every student they guide, and every corner of their own lives.

To these eight women: thank you for trusting this process, trusting each other, and trusting yourselves. Watching you grow into your Soul Sister tribe has been one of the greatest gifts!

Join me in congratulating them. Give them a big shout out in the comments!!!

πŸ”₯ It's that time of year! Nominations are open for St. Louis Magazines A-list! We've been a finalist 4 years in the running. Can we do it again or better yet... Can we go for the win?!?

It all starts by being nominated in the first place! That's where I'm asking our community to come together. It takes 30 seconds, you can nominate everyday. And I've made it as easy as possible by putting the link right in our bio, and in the comments.
Plus, you'll find a QR code in the studio so every time you leave a class, it'll remind you to nominate us!

But don't just stop with this one nomination... This is important to all small businesses like ours. Why?
It's not about our ego or a trophy on the shelf. It's about visibility in a world where big box studios and corporate chains have massive marketing budgets and we have... well, you!

When south River yoga shows up on that list, more women in our area. Discover that there's a place where yoga isn't just about fitness, it's about philosophy and a way of living. We're getting older. Isn't something to dread, it's something to honor. It's where you find your community of support, and everyone knows your name.

Every small business needs this visibility. We thrive when our communities show up for us. So after you go and nominate South River Yoga for best yoga studio, scroll through the list and add any other local businesses that also brighten your day! We all need that support.

Tag the other small businesses in this post that you are going to nominate everyday! Let's lift each other up, and help each other out!

πŸ—“ A Few Schedule Changes! πŸ—“ BEGINNING MARCH 1st!

We are always working to try and bring you the best schedule of classes possible! We're making a few small tweaks to our class schedule starting March 1st, and we think you're going to love the consistency!

We've realigned our weekday class times so the schedule flows the same way every day of the week. No more remembering that Friday starts at 8:30! Same anchors, every day.

π‡πžπ«πž'𝐬 𝐰𝐑𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐜𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐒𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐑 𝟏𝐬𝐭:
⭐Wednesday
-Chair Yoga: 11am β†’ 10:30am
⭐Friday (shifts by 1/2 hour)
-Yoga Basics: 8:30am β†’ 9am
-Yoga for Healthy Aging: 10am β†’ 10:30am
Chair Yoga: 11:30am β†’ 12pm

We hope these small changes make it a little easier to plan your week. More consistency, less thinking, more yoga!

πŸŒ‘πŸ”₯🐴You don't have to be into astrology to feel like something's shifting right now. And tomorrow might be why.

New Moon. Solar eclipse. Lunar New Year. Year of the Fire Horse. All at once!

If you've been feeling restless, like something's ready to change, like you're done playing small... this is the energy behind it.

The Fire Horse only comes around once every 60 years. And it's known for one thing: women who refuse to fit in the box.

I don't know about you, but that sounds exactly like the energy we need right now.

And what better way to work with it than on your mat, surrounded by women who get it? Fire energy needs to move. It needs community. It needs you to show up exactly as you are.

So tomorrow? Set your intentions big. Move your body. Connect with your people, whether that's on your mat at the studio, in your living room, or gathered with friends.

And trust that whatever's ready to change is right on time.

What are you calling in with this new moon energy? Drop it below, we want to witness it. πŸŒ™πŸ”₯

❀️❀️❀️Happy Valentine's Day to our South River Yoga community!!!

We say "I love you" a lot around here! To each other as teachers, to our students, to this community we've built together. And honestly? We think more people should say it!!

Can we please normalize saying "I love you" to our friends? Somewhere along the way, we decided that telling our friends that we love them was too much, too vulnerable, and saved for only romantic relationships or family. But what if we just said it? Around here, we show up for each other, we breathe together, we make each other's day brighter! That brings more love into our lives!

So here it is... We love you! ❀️ Swipe through to see just how much we love you!

Happy Valentine's Day!❀️ Tag someone from the studio that you love and haven't told them lately!!

πŸ™ I pulled this affirmation card today..." My only prayer today is this... Thank you."

It really made me think about our February theme of connecting.

Gratitude is one of the most powerful ways we connect...to ourselves, to others, to the moment we're in. Who in your life deserves a thank you today? Maybe reach out and let them know. Or just pause and feel grateful for something simple. That's connection too. πŸ’›

Thank you.

Your yoga practice is your own individual journey, but you're not alone in it.

Some days your body feels strong and open. Other days you're working through the changes of perimenopause or menopause, dealing with an old injury that's flaring up, or just feeling the effects of too much wine or sugar the night before! (Yes, we all indulge sometimes!) Maybe you're stiff from sitting at your desk all day, or your mind won't quiet down because life feels chaotic.

When we show up honestly, exactly as we are, we give everyone else permission to do the same.

That's the beauty of practicing together in community. We honor our individual paths while supporting each other through it all. And that's what makes group classes so powerful.

Who's committed to showing up as their authentic self in class? Let me see those hands in the commentsβœ‹βœ‹πŸΌβœ‹πŸ½. Tag your yoga bestie and tell them it's okay to show up as themselves, we'll support them!!
