Every mat holds a story. And every story has a way back.

See yourself on one of these mats? Swipe to find how yoga can ground you when you need it.

This is what we mean by rooting. Not escaping what's hard, but returning to the stability that lives underneath it. Muladhara, our root chakra, is the foundation of safety and security. The part of you that knows how to stand even when everything feels unsteady.

Your mat is where you come to remember that.
If one of these mats is yours right now, we're so glad you're here. 🌿

πŸ‘‰ Save this and share it with someone who might need a mat today.

🌳This is April summed up.
When life gets chaotic the invitation isn't to push harder or figure it all out. It's to go deeper. Into your breath, your body, your practice, your people.
That's what we're exploring all month at the studio. Come root with us. 🌿

I'll go first..
for me it's the mental load. The running list that never ends. Even when I'm sitting still, part of my brain wants to be somewhere else, checking things off that list.

Yoga didn't fix that. But it gave me a place to put it down for a while. And over time, that practice of putting it down has made me better at carrying it the rest of the time.

That's rooting. And we are diving deep into it this month.

If you've been thinking about trying yoga, or coming back after a long break, April is a genuinely great time to start, stress awareness month. If you have stress, you can use yoga.

New students can try two weeks unlimited for $39. Link in bio.

🌿🌧Welcome to April! 🌧🌿

April's theme is Rooting! And the timing is perfect!

When we look at our annual "Grow with the Flow" theme-we spent January 'Becoming'... getting honest about who we're growing into. February brought us into 'Connecting'...finding our people, and connecting within. March was all about 'Clarifying'... getting still and getting clear about our path forward. And now we arrive in April with something real to work with. Something worth anchoring.

That's what Rooting is about. Not starting over, but building on. Laying the kind of foundation that can actually hold the growth we've been working toward all year.

🌳Think about a tree in spring: what you see above the ground looks effortless. But underground, it's been building for months. The root system had to get strong enough to hold everything that was coming. That's us, right now.

We have a beautiful month of events to support exactly that, and a couple are already almost full β€” so check the pic below and be sure to snag your spots quick!

And don't miss our big event on Sunday, April 19th: Earth Day Vendor Fair. Free yoga class to start, then an afternoon with local vendors doing good work in our community. Register for the free yoga class at the link in bio. April... let's get rooted. 🌿

Nobody walks into yoga thinking it's going to change the way they listen.

Or the way they stop spiraling over a conversation that happened three days ago. Or the way they finally start trusting their own gut again.

But it does. Not all at once, and not in a way that's easy to point to. It's quieter than that.

If you've been showing up on your mat and wondering whether any of it is actually sticking...swipe through. The signs are usually subtle. But they're real.

Save this one for the next time you need a reminder that your practice is working. 🀍

Somewhere over Missouri at sunrise, giving myself the same permission I want to give you...

You don't have to be available to everyone all the time. You don't have to respond immediately, fix everything quickly, or stay on top of it all perfectly.

That constant pull toward productivity? Yoga teaches is a lot about it. The practice isn't just what happens on your mat. It's learning to recognize when your nervous system is running on empty, and you're about to burnout, and then giving yourself permission to disconnect.

You're allowed to rest. You're allowed to be quiet. You're allowed to be unreachable.
Full stop.

If you needed to hear this too, save this for the next time you need the reminder.

March asked us to get quiet. To stop outsourcing our answers and trust what we already know.

That's viveka...the yogic concept of discernment. The ability to see clearly when we stop letting the noise decide for us.

It's not always comfortable. But it's always worth it.

We're soon closing out our Clarifying month and stepping into something new in April. Stay close, you're going to want to be part of what's coming. 🌱
