To Our Cherished Patients and Friends,

We are reaching out to share an important update about our practice and the continued care we provide to you. After 40 years, Dr. Blase Pignotti finds it no longer feasible to continue in private practice. It has been one of the greatest honors and privileges of his career, and his life, to partner with you and your families on your health journeys. Being part of your lives with your healthcare concerns has been one of the most meaningful aspects of his career. While this marks a meaningful transition, we are pleased to share news that ensures continuity of your care for those who wish to remain connected with these Providers, and we encourage you to do so.

Effective May 4, 2026, Dr. Laura Pignotti will be joining Mercy Clinic Women’s Health – Medical Tower B, Suite 1017, located at 621 S. New Ballas Road, Tower B, Suite 1017, one floor above our existing office.

Dr. Laura Pignotti looks forward to joining Drs. Phillips, Giacalone, and Johnson - an all-female group of excellent physicians. We encourage you to continue your care with Dr. Laura’s new group. Any appointments scheduled with Dr. Laura Pignotti beginning May 4, 2026 at her current location, will be honored at the new location.

What this means for your care:
- Dr. Blase Pignotti will continue to see patients until May 29th, 2026. We encourage his patients to follow Dr. Laura to her new office.
- Beginning April 27, 2026, you may begin scheduling appointments with Dr. Laura at her new Mercy office. Office number: 314-292-7080
- Dr. Laura will officially begin seeing patients in suite 1017B on May 4, 2026.
- Our current office at 621 South New Ballas Road, Suite 75B will continue assisting
with transferring your medical records upon request.

ALL patients that will be under Dr. Laura's care:
Please be on the lookout for an email and letter in the mail that will include a Medical Release Form. Please complete and return to our office by June 1st, 2026, to forego any gaps in care. This should be an easy transition!

Patients who want a copy of their chart also need to sign a Medical Release Form and pick up their copy at the current office before May 29th, 2026. After this date, it will be much more difficult to get your chart.

As we prepare to close this chapter at West County ObGyn Specialists, we do so with deep appreciation. Thank you for the trust, kindness, and relationships that have made this practice so meaningful over the years. It has been our privilege to care for you.
