I get this question all the time: “Who just checked me out? They were so kind, but I didn’t catch their name!”
So I thought it was time to formally introduce the beautiful, welcoming faces of our front office team. They’re the first smiles you see when you walk in and the last goodbyes when you leave—and they truly make this place feel like home. 💛

First up: Mary!
You’ll find Mary at the front desk on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—always ready with a smile and a kind word. When she’s not at work, she’s likely spending time with her daughter, relaxing at the lake with family and friends, or unwinding in a yoga class.

Next up: Jenny!
You’ll find Jenny at the front desk on Tuesdays and Thursdays—she’s warm, efficient, and always up for a good conversation. Ask her about her two cats (she’s got some great stories) or what book she’s reading lately—she has a gift for finding joy in the little things.

Meet Brie (short for Abrielle—how beautiful is that name?)
Brie holds down the fort at Golden Door in the evenings. She’s the ultimate movie buff—you’ll often find her at the Alamo catching the latest release. By day, she works a full-time job, and in her free time, she’s an incredible photographer. Her creative photoshoots are absolutely stunning.

Last but definitely not least: Vivian!
Vivian holds it down on the weekends at Golden Door. She’s currently on summer break and considering a future in cosmetology school. An old soul with a beautiful smile, Vivian brings a calm, kind energy to the space. She’s having a tonsillectomy this month—so be sure to keep her in your thoughts as she recovers!

Have you thought about volunteering your time to help tornado victims on the North Side?

Tamlin and I spent the day with helping clean up—cutting down trees and stacking bricks that had fallen onto the sidewalks. It was heartbreaking to see the damage, but also incredibly powerful to witness the community coming together.

There were at least 50 volunteers out today, and the weather was perfect. ☀️ It gave us so much hope seeing neighbors supporting neighbors, showing up with love and muscle to help however they could.

But the reality is: there’s still so much need. People on the North Side are going without basics—food, clean water, diapers, baby items, and other essentials. If you’re looking for a way to help, is extremely organized and makes it so easy to plug in. You can sign up for shifts online, and every little bit makes a difference.

Please consider giving your time, resources, or money. St. Louis is our home. And we have to fight for the dignity and safety of everyone in our community.

St. Louis Tornado Relief Donation Drive
+ $10 Off Any Service When You Donate

Like many, I used to believe that tornadoes didn’t strike cities—that the Arch or our buildings somehow offered protection. But that belief was shattered last Friday when an EF3 tornado tore through St. Louis, devastating neighborhoods and displacing families.

In response, we’re organizing a donation drive to support those affected. All donated items will be delivered to where they’ll be distributed directly to individuals and families in need.

Here’s what we’re collecting:

Non-perishable food items

Baby products (diapers, formula, wipes)

New toys for children who’ve lost everything

Clean clothes (all sizes)

Laundry supplies

As a thank you for your generosity, we’re offering $10 off any service when you bring in a donation.
Can’t bring items? We’ll also honor a screenshot of a monetary donation to a local relief organization.

Deadline for donations: Tuesday, May 27th.
