It has been a WONDERFUL ride at Flowstate and I am so grateful for their generosity in sharing their space and expertise over the years.

Sit STL is truly a passion project and to be honest, it has been on the back burner lately as I focus on my career aspirations. So while I am very sad about the closing of Flowstate, it feels like the right time for Sit to take a rest as well. I hope to bring Sit STL back to the community in a new location sometime in 2023, so keep an eye out for that.

With that said, I am still offering a few in-home and virtual 1x1 meditation coaching, personal training, and weight loss programs as always. Shoot me a message if you’re interested in getting into any of that.

And last but not least…thank you to EVERYONE who supported Sit STL at Flowstate over the years. It was an honor to be able to share something I love so much with so many amazing people. I hope I was able to introduce, sustain, or enhance the incredibly life-changing concept of mindfulness in your lives.

Starting tonight, we have 4 classes left at the studio. I hope you’re able to come join us one last time :)

After much deliberation, we have decided to close the studio permanently. Our last class will take place Friday, October 21.
What began as an idea nearly 10 years ago has become a life changing experience for Coach and the countless individuals who have seen positive impact from the training and community.

Meditation cushions for sale!
For some folks, coming to class once a week can help them keep their regular home practice more consistent. Another thing that can help with that is by making their home practice COMFY. So I thought it’d be a good idea to offer cushions for people interested in making their home practice more accessible

ANNOUNCEMENT:

The benefits from a regular meditation practice can be revealed in areas of our lives that aren’t completely obvious. For example, an area that I hold dear to my heart is that of physical health, specifically weight loss.

Now before I continue, I want to make this explicitly clear: none of the following spiel has ANYTHING to do with appearance. You should never be ashamed of your body. We are all humans and should treat ourselves and others as such, with respect, kindness, and understanding.

Aside from a Meditation Coach, I am also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer as some of you know. What you might not know, is I also hold a weight loss specialization. I strongly believe the inclusion of a regular meditation practice can aid in any weight loss journey. Outside of formal meditation practice, it’s not uncommon to see improvements in patience, discipline, and motivation - all attributes that are crucial to find success in such a challenging endeavor.

With that said, I am now offering several unique, personalized weight loss programs that incorporate nutrition awareness, exercise programs, and meditation coaching to help you lose weight safely and effectively. Both in person and/or virtual.

I’ll eventually update the website with more details, but for now please feel free to contact me through direct message, email, phone, or talk to me after class sometime…BTW….class tonight!! (If you’re reading this on Thursday of course)…

I want to reiterate, this is in no way coming from a place of judgement, nor is it a declaration that “you must change”. I’m merely offering my knowledge and experience to help guide you through the difficult and confusing path of weight loss should you decide to set out on that journey.

Some of you who attended Sit STL classes back when we were at the wonderful might remember the silk yoga hammocks. Well…they’re back!

We now have 4 silk hammocks available at .stl to lounge in during Sit STL class! The cushions we normally use are great, but not gonna lie….. the silks are next level! When on cushions, people often report the feeling of “floating” during the sound portion of class. That sensation is amplified when you’re in one of these swings!

Class is still the same - guided meditation + sound experience. As mentioned, we only have 4 swings available, so they are first come first served.

Come give it a shot this Thursday at 6:30pm! Make sure to wear clothing without anything that might cut the fabric: Jeans, zippers, buttons = 👎. Gym shorts, yoga pants, sweat pants = 👍

The “vision” for Sit STL is to get EVERY St. Louisan to try meditation at least once. The hope is that Sit STL will shatter any misconceptions one might have about meditation and help them eventually open the door to a new and enhanced perspective on living.

So...what easier way to get people to try something once? Make that sh*t free! Yo! We’re finally back in business after a year + of (not) sitting around. So excited to get back! Check the link in the bio to book a class. Class structure is still the same - guided meditation followed by sound experience

Starting off with one weekly Sit class on Thursday nights @ 6:30pm (beginning next week, 4/29). Might add more classes down the road

Due to limited class sizes and extra time spent cleaning/prepping, we had to jack the price up to $25 to make it make sense. Yes, the days of $12 Sit classes are over 😭

I don’t think I have to mention how bad our amygdala has gotten beat up since last Feb...but guided meditation and singing bowls sound pretty great rn...I REALLY hope to see you in. Especially if you feel like you’ve been having a tough time. I feel for you!

Here’s a little snip from a great conversation with and

Kev & Audra completed a 16-week Sit session a couple months back and were kind enough to answer a handful of questions about their experience. Not just about the program or Sit classes specifically, but also regarding meditation as a whole. Here I simply asked: “who could benefit from meditation?”
