I went to this hospital for emergency care and the only ppl who were kind to me were the white ppl. All the black ladies I encountered were mean rude unfriendly. Black ppl hate other black ppl and that's a fact.
Just want to say a HUGE THANK YOU for everything you ALL are doing. I pray you stay safe but your dedication tops it all
Don't bring anyone to this incompetent hospital. My 90 year old father in-law with dementia was brought to Christian hospital on Feb 28th. He was alert and feisty, so feisty that he tried to climb out of his bed at some point. So they put him in a drug induced coma by giving him geodon, a drug that has a warning not to give to the elderly with dementia, yet they gave it to him anyway. They fried his brain. He would not wake up again for 2 and a half weeks. When he finally started to come out of his coma that Christian hospital put him in, they injected him with geodon AGAIN, just because he lifted his arms. He is now back to being in a drug indeuced coma and back to square one. He hasn't eaten in all this time since February. We are beyond enraged at this point. If Christian hospital cannot read and understand the warning labels on the drugs they inject patients with, maybe they'll understand the words "malpractice litigation" because that is what will happen if they kill my father in-law due to incompetence.

In the ER and have been for 5 hours and have NOT seen a DR yet. This is not acceptable.
I had to go to the ER today because I thought I had a blood cloth following a major surgery I had. I initially I was concerned because I wasn't seen right away, because it was urgent to me. The wait to see triage was about 10 minutes and from there I was taken right back to room 13. The services I received were exceptional. It didn't take long to get blood work or tests results. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the services I received. They care and it shows. Thank you ER Doctor and staff for being there for me, you are greatly appreciated.
My brother had his car stolen which had things in it for his baby that’s due in February, medical textbooks for his classes, and his ribbons from his service in Afghanistan with the marines. Tell me why this has to happen in a hospital Parking lot THAT HE WORKS FOR. They were NOT accommodating with the security tapes. Just incredibly disappointing.
My wife spent 16 days there with overall good care from nurses. She was a transfer from another hospital to ICU. She was admitted with pneumonia and sepsis. She had numerous other conditions with congestive heart failure and feeding tube to be major items. Also had pacemaker with AFIB and low blood pressure. I complained every day about poor doctor care. Was discharged in worse condition than when admitted. Was never treated as CHF patient at all. Passed away 14 days after discharge from CHF because of excessive fluids given to her there. Gained 17 lbs while there, although records do not indicate that. Records indicate 30 lb loss with no comments. Have talked to patient advocate numerous time with no results. Have asked for meeting with CEO with no results. Feel my wives records have been altered also because no comments back up info. Also feel she was possibly over dosed by one doctor. Also given medicine by nurse practicner that was forbidden by doctor. Also had feeding tube that no one was qualified to use. No one made an attempt to watch me feed her when I was allowed to. Gave her medicine liquid by mouth for throat condition knowing that she could have nothing by mouth. Had NPO sign outside her door, which means nothing by mouth. Question why, with total disregard . This hospital does not deserve to be open. Patients deserve ethical care. Have filed complaints against three doctors, filed complaint with Health and Senior Services(unable to investigate). Requested meeting and declined again. Filing complaint with attorney generals office as soon as I receive forms. Also continuing to try and find legal assistance, which they know that I may not be able to do, because of my wives age and number of conditions she had. Have been told I have legal complaint by numerous people, to include lawyers. This hospital need to be closed and people deserve ethical care

What types of masks to avoid

That N95 respirator mask left over from your home remodeling project may not be a good option if you're trying to prevent the spread of COVID-19. If the mask has a plastic valve in the middle of it, wearing it may actually do more harm than good to those around you.

"These tragic events this week, the 100,000+ deaths accelerated by COVID-19, and the continued health care and racial disparities in our community, highlight the stark realities of our public health crisis in St. Louis and across America...I firmly believe it is the result of racism in America – structural and institutionalized racism that privileged white men have perpetuated for far too long," says BJC HealthCare president and CEO Rich Liekweg in a letter to the St. Louis American.
