Looking for a way to give back on Thanksgiving Day? 🦃🦃🦃
Then join us at the Sports Medicine & Training Center's 10th Annual "Thankslifting"! IFM is excited to be this year's charity recipient of their annual Thankslifting event where you can get in an early workout, giving you the energy and "lift" you need to get your Thanksgiving Day/weekend off to a great start - all while benefitting those in need of affordable/accessible health care in STL!
For a $10 (or more) donation to IFM, you'll have access to their AMAZING workout space (suitable for all fitness levels) and FREE coffee! IFM staff & volunteers will be on hand with information about our work and to accept donations of personal care items for our patients in need! We'd certainly be THANKFUL if you stop by and start your holiday with good health and good deeds that will do our community good! To find out more, visit www.smtcstl.com.

We had a great time last night at our first ever 🍸Cocktail Party 🍹to benefit our patient assistance fund! The party raised funding to help our patients cover costs such as medical and lab testing/imaging and medications. Thank you to all who attended and Videira Wine Bar for making the evening a success! Cheers!

IFM's CEO, Dr. Denise Buck (in orange), mentored this amazing group of students from Saint Louis University School of Medicine over the weekend with their Vietnamese Community Outreach Project. They provided 30 flu shots to persons in need in the local Vietnamese community. Great job all!

Our crew is at Atlas Public Schools St. Louis this week knocking out school physicals for their students (77 today alone!).
School physicals are important as they may be the only time during the school year a child is seen by a health provider and can catch physical and developmental concerns that may become critical if not treated early. Physicals also provide assurance that students can safely take part in school and extracurricular activities - and are required by most districts for participation. For students/families without a primary health care provider, referrals are made to our community clinics as well.
Leave a comment of appreciation for our ROCK STAR providers who are offering this critical service in our community!

Our Community Connections Health Clinic was visited by representatives from the Council for Responsible Nutrition, a new national partner of the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (of which IFM is a member) and some of their trade partner members from across the US as they are in town for their national convention. The members learned about IFM and helped us assemble supply bags for our patients and sort clothing for our care pantries. They also gave us a generous donation of children's and adult multivitamins for our patients which will help them build a healthy diet! We appreciate their help and support!
PS: it looks like we were serving beer but it was actually Fitz's Root Beer because of course we had to rep our local goodies and tell them about how great is!

We were busy today making sure all of our providers had their flu shots since is here! Getting an annual flu shot is the best way to reduce your chances of getting and spreading the flu in the fall and winter months. It's important not only for health care providers to protect our patients, but for everyone in the community for their own health and the health of others. Call your provider TODAY or visit a community flu shot clinic to make sure you are protected this year!
