ASHP - SSHP at UHSP The student chapter of ASHP at UHSP! Serving Pharmacy students interested in residency! Also referred to as American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).

SSHP focuses on gaining education, support, and advancement for future careers in hospitals and other health-care systems. Focusing on mastery of clinical skills, learning about emerging technologies, and staying up-to-date on public health issues are additional concerns of the organization. Members are able to network with residents, residency program directors, and pharmacists within the clinica

l setting and outside of the workplace. ASHP is the accrediting body for pharmacy residencies and is a 35,000-member national professional association that represents pharmacists who practice in hospitals, health maintenance organizations, long-term care facilities, home care, and other components of health care systems.
