📃 A new GLOBAL meta-analysis study published on PubMed reaffirms what we’ve always known-endometriosis and adenomyosis are NOT RARE!

🌏 This worldwide analysis aligns with our Saint Louis University decade-long research showing the prevalence of endo and adeno, particularly in those with symptoms including infertility, difficult/painful periods, pain with in*******se, and general gynecological symptoms.

🔊 We continue to encourage all women to ask questions, demand answers, and see the ROOT CAUSE care that you deserve! 💛 We are here for you and working each day to champion your voice!

Endo or adeno… or maybe both?

If you’ve ever wondered which condition explains your symptoms, you’re not alone. Many women go years without clarity.

At RESTORE, we see women every day who’ve been told their symptoms are “normal” or that everything is “fine”, when really they are battling endo and/or adeno and deserve answers and healing!

12/09/2025

Been told it’s just bad periods? Or “unexplained” infertility?

It just might be adenomyosis.

if your periods are debilitating, if you’re constantly bloated or exhausted, or if you’ve been told everything looks “normal” on imaging… you’re not alone. And you’re not imagining it.

Adenomyosis is more common than most people realize — yet far too many women spend years confused, dismissed, or told their symptoms are “normal.”

Though there are very few physicians worldwide with a true understanding and training in the treatment of endometriosis and adenomyosis, know that you are not alone, your pain is real, and there ARE specialists who can help you find ROOT CAUSE healing!

🔊 A new study published in Frontiers in Reproductive Health tracked 1,310 couples with an average of 2 years of infertility and average maternal age of 35, who underwent individualized, root-cause fertility care via NaProTechnology.

3 Phases of the NaPro Process:
🎗️ LEARNING-including educating couples on the body’s signs of fertility and cycle charting
🎗️ DIAGNOSTIC-analysis of comprehensive medical history, lab testing, imaging, and interpretation of charting for an average of 3-6 months
🎗️ THERAPEUTIC-individualized treatment plans including surgical intervention to restore optimal anatomy and remove disease

With ROOT CAUSE treatment and interventions the crude “take-home baby” (live birth) rate was 35.3%. Among couples who stayed in active care, the adjusted cumulative take-home baby rate reached 62.1%. Success was more likely in younger women, shorter infertility duration, and in those diagnosed with hormonal dysfunction, endometriosis, male-factor, or endometrial disorders.

Furthermore, for nearly one-third of women, structural abnormalities were addressed surgically (e.g. via laparoscopy or hysteroscopy), underscoring the importance of individualized, foundational healing rather than only superficial fixes such as IVF.

Understanding and addressing the ROOT CAUSES of infertility are imperative to true healing and natural fertility!

What is the difference between an GYN surgeon and an Endometriosis Excision Surgeon?

A LOT!

We get it-having endometriosis can be exhausting enough without adding the homework of researching and advocating for ourselves, especially when it feels like we are more educated on Endo than our doctors.

Hear more from Dr. Yeung and The Hormone Genius Podcast team as we discuss the importance of working with a true excision surgeon with a mindset of preserving anatomy and fertility.

We need to be talking about endo in teens and addressing the disease early in life.

As women with endo it can be hard to look back throughout life and recall a time with endometriosis wasn’t impacting us. Let’s change this for future generations through research, education, awareness, and support! 💛

Dr. Yeung’s 10 year database at St. Louis University shows that by closely, carefully, and systematically treating all endo, in all forms, can mean the rate of missing or leaving diseases behind can be very low AND the rate of repeat surgery can be very low as well.

🎗️Though there is no cure for endo, we are showing that complete eradication of disease is possible even without long term postoperative hormonal suppression!

Just because a doctor can’t see endo, says your testing is “normal,” or tells you that you don’t have endometriosis, does NOT mean it’s in your head or that your pain is not real — it might still be endo, and you deserve answers 💛

In this powerful episode of The Hormone Genius Podcast, Dr. Yeung pushes back on the myth that “normal imaging = no endo.” He explains why many patients are told they’re fine — and why more in-depth testing is imperative for women with pain and/or infertility.

If you’ve been dismissed or told your pain is normal this one’s for you!

Pain and killer cramps are NOT normal and “unexplained infertility” is NOT a diagnosis!

Our 10-year database at St. Louis University shows:
🔎 In symptomatic women, the rate of endometriosis is at least 50%—even if they don’t report pain
🔥 Among those with pelvic pain, endometriosis is found in over 80%
🤰 In women with both infertility and pain, the rate of endometriosis was 93%
🧬 Unexplained infertility is often endometriosis that hasn’t been diagnosed yet

At Restore we believe in a ROOT CAUSE approach to treating pain and infertility:
🌟 Optimal endometriosis excision with optimization of anatomy and adhesion prevention
🌟 Targeted hormonal evaluation and support with education for understanding signs of fertility to pinpoint ovulation and increase chances of natural fertility
🌟 A Functional Medicine approach using food as medicine to reduce inflammation, support hormone balance, and promote true healing
