Katie is 65 and never really considered having a facelift…

… until she started following me.

She really enjoyed the patient journeys, and loved the outcomes she saw.

💨Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is meant to supercharge the amount of oxygen the blood can carry above and beyond the normal capacity carried by fully-saturated hemoglobin.

While we do offer it to all of our postoperative facelift patients, I do not believe it has a meaningful benefit in patients who are healing normally.

It is VERY beneficial, however, in recovery for patients with flap congestion (borderline poor circulation, as Becki’s left cheek demonstrates in other videos).

Some patients - those with certain lung conditions, claustrophobia, and/or the inability to “pop” their ears to equalize pressure - are not good candidates for hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

is one of my very best friends and colleagues.

Dom and I have known each other for approximately 15 years, and over those years we have co-evolved from junior surgeons to two of the very small handful of current global leaders in facial rejuvenation surgery.

We routinely share publications, podiums, operating theaters, insights, and laughs all over the world.

My association with Dom has made me a better surgeon and happier person.

So, last year, when he reached out for his own facelift, I said “it would be my honor.”

Dominic is 50.

4 weeks already!!!

Lisa is 64 years old, and heavy necks run in her family.

Even as a young adult, she never had a very defined jaw line.

As time, gravity, and sun left their marks, she reached a point where she was ready for a change.

Lisa’s “necklift” required VERY advanced sculpting of the hereditary deep foundation (fat, muscle, glands, fibrous tissue) followed by lifting of the fallen superficial layers (muscle, fascia, fat, skin) all the way up through her cheeks and temples.

I kept the rest of her face balanced with upper and lower blepharoplasty, fat transfer where appropriate, buccal fat reduction, and SUPER heavy full face CO2 laser resurfacing.
