We are thrilled to share some exciting news from Family United Adult Day Center!

We took our amazing participants on a special field trip to the University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL). This trip is more than just a change of scenery—it’s an opportunity to empower, uplift, and inspire.

At Family United, we believe that disability does not define limits—it highlights unique strengths, creativity, and resilience. Every individual we serve has purpose, potential, and a voice worth hearing. This field trip to UMSL is designed to open new doors of possibility and encourage each participant to dream big and explore all that life has to offer.

By visiting a vibrant college campus, we hope to show our participants that they are capable of anything they put their mind to—whether it’s learning something new, connecting with others, or envisioning goals for the future. Everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and inspired, and this trip is one more way we celebrate that truth.
