Coincidentally, this was about the same time that natural medicine based on fresh foods and herbs was replaced by 'Western Medicine' rooted in pharmaceuticals. Can't quite put my thumb on the reason why plants and herbs from nature were demonized by effective PR campaigns against natural health...Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?
